The Hummus is a recipe typical of countries such as Turkey or Lebanon, widespread in the area of the Mediterranean, made from chickpeas.
The recipe is very simple.
Once cooked chickpeas (we can use the ones at we used for soup), the grind in a blender, along with a couple of cloves of garlic (put more or less depending on how you like garlic), add some juice lemon.
Once we have made the homogeneous mass, put it in a serving bowl.
Chop fine tiny onion with a sprig of parsley. We add it over the hummus.
Before serving, a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil will give a special touch.
How do you eat? With toast, with pita bread or as an accompaniment to vegetables or grilled meat.
