Sushi time

More often we are asked about recipes in which to use our olive oil but even more often we are asked about recepies including other specific products too. In this ocasion our great friend Susana from “Los Tenedores” Has proposed out a nice challenge, put together our Olive Oil and Leon’s Jerky.

When someone proposes us a challenge: shoulders to the wheel!

We propose 2 different Sushi recopies, why not!

Sushi-Sushi
Ingredients:
Rice
Sugar
Vinager
Black Prune
Olicatessen Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Leon’s Jerky

Preparation:
Clean he rice so that it loses the starch
Once the rice is boiled, drain and add sugar and vinegar so that we get an sticky rice. Give it an square shape) (There are some wonderful m olds for it).

Fry the prune add the jecky… and there it is.. You can see the wonderful result

• Bittersweet Sushi
Ingredients:
Rice
Dry Raspberries (Otherwise raisins)
Sesame
Olicatessen Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Leon’s Jerky

Preparation:

We prepare the boiled rice in a saucepan. We put one measure of rice per each 2 of water. We put the water with salt and when it boils we add the rice with the dry raspberries. Once boiled and drain, we let it cool down

Once the rice is cold, we heat up a pan with a few Olicatessen Extra Virgin Olive oil, we brown the sesame and we mix it with the cold rice.

We put the jerky laminates perfectly flat over the table and we put over them the cold rice with raspberries and sesame. We roll the jerky and once well prepared we cut it in small roll of about two fingers wide.

We take the rolls to a plate and we put some salad with Olicatessen Extra Virgin olive oil on the side. It is a fruity Olive oil that improves the vegetable flavours and contrasts with the intense smoke flavor of the jerky.
