The Forum is a space for public and private reflection open to all those interested in participating, where work is done to improve the quality of life of the extra virgin olive oil producing territories through the creation of synergies with heritage.
Within this framework, this latest edition has been held in digital format for 3 days. The theme has been varied and very interesting.
Thursday March 25
12:00 to 13:30: Opportunities for olive companies in the new tourism law of Catalonia
6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: Quality permaculture and olive growing.
Friday March 26
12:00 to 13:30: The value of the territory in the commercialization of Extra Virgin Oil
And to close this forum, we are HUGE grateful that a space has been created where women who work in the world of oil have been able to make our role visible, so that girls and boys of today and tomorrow have female references also in the world of oil. and especially in the primary sector and the rural world in general, what a good need we do!
We need to attract talent and youth!
Women represent a little more than 50% of the population. And the woman is also a CONSUMER and also a BUYER of this product. Therefore, we should be contributing something to the world of oil, because we see-value in a different way. Neither better nor worse.
6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: Oil is also a women’s thing: female experiences in olive growing.
Round table, moderated by Francisco Florensa, coordinator of SOM Garrigues, with the participation of:
