Tomato salad with fresh cheese and nuts

Consuming our own seasonal products allows us to enjoy the products when they are tastier.

Now is the time for green beans, aubergines, peppers, tomatoes and potatoes, as well as zucchini, cucumbers and squash.

Vegetables have diuretic effects, do not contain fats, help regulate intestinal transit. They are rich in potassium and iron.

Here is a summer recipe we love!

Tomato salad with fresh cheese and nuts

Ingredients for 4 people:

  • Tomato: 600gr
  • Fresh cheese: 150 gr
  • walnuts: 20 gr
  • sesame: 5 gr
  • Salt: to taste
  • Organic extra virgin olive oil olicatessen: To taste.

Step by step:

Clean the tomato very well and dry it with a clean cloth. Cut into cubes and salt to taste. Place on a tray large enough to allow us to stir comfortably. And, we add the crumbled fresh cheese.

And now the salad! Umh!

We add some walnuts and sesame and extra virgin olive oil. NOTHING MORE!

** You always have time to add salt and / or vinegar. It also accepts fresh onions, Arbequina olives or a teaspoon of olives.
